Turquoise blue water isn't typically associated with the UK but then, most people haven't been to Cornwall. Lucky for me, being a trad climber and a Falmouth University graduate, I've spent a lot of time on some of the most picturesque and untouched stretches of coastline in the southwest of England. So I have picture proof, we do have beautiful beaches here! As lockdown restrictions are being eased, allowing for stay-cations, I felt inspired to write about Cornwall. It's the perfect UK staycation for climbers and non-climbers alike.
Bosigran is a large, granite sea cliff located in West Penwith. It's one of my favourite places to climb in Cornwall... the pictures don't do it justice! Meanwhile, the coastal path makes for an impressive walk. You're likely to spot seals, and if you're lucky, basking sharks in the waters around Bosigran. The abandoned mines dotted along the path add a suitably Cornish feel too.

These photographs are all so gorgeous! I've only visited Cornwall once, and that was only to Falmouth, and it was in the dead of winter so it really wasn't all too great. I adore these photographs, and you might have just convinced me to travel back to Cornwall!

The place looks stunning! I tried climbing recently but that was a difficult task! Lately my sister fell of a wall and she hurt her leg and now is sentenced to one month in cast and 2 months of rehabilitation - so my mom is freaking out we're all going to die from climbing :) But I have to try it again. Just to see this view it is worth knowing how to climb. Beautiful pictures!
