I was lucky enough to receive a beautiful new swimsuit from the folk over at SwimwearUK just before I left on my South East Asia backpacking trip. It was ideal timing as I had literally no money to spare for a desperately needed swimsuit replacement for my old New Look bikini (which I did also take with me but left behind, it had seen better days!). So I chose this beautiful floral bandeau swimsuit by Roidal to test out in the lovely waters around Vietnam and Thailand and I’m going to tell you what I though of it!

The swimsuit is made of a really thick, high quality material which you’d expect for how much it retails for! This isn’t a messing around in swimsuit, that’s for sure. In fact I was a bit nervous I’d ruin it! But it held up fine and hasn’t lost its shape or colour despite being heavily used by me while I was away. I did opt for my old bikini when exploring the mud caves in Phong Nha National Park, Vietnam and I think it’s safe to say that was a wise decision!
Actually, I would have been a bit gutted if I had ruined this swimsuit as I’ve ended up loving it. The quality is unbeatable and I think it shows in the way it fits. It came in cup sizes, the fabric cinched in my waist and the top didn’t feel like it was going to slip down at all.
Upcoming Travel Plans!
Next weekend I am off to Greece for a friends wedding. I’ve never been to a wedding (not sure how I’ve managed that?) let alone a Greek wedding so I am pretty freaking excited right about now! I fly to Corfu and then catch a ferry back to the mainland and make my way south, to what looks like the middle of nowhere. Doesn’t that sound perfect? I plan on relaxing to the extreme and my new favourite swimsuit is definitely coming with me.
